Our freezer ice maker hasn’t work for a long time and we would by large bags of ice a couple time per week. Had been wanting a countertop model and selected this based on reviews and price. We are throughly amazed at how much this little machine puts out. It will fill its basket in 10-15 minutes amd you can dump inlt into the freezer to use later. It is not insulated so the ice that is left in the basket will just melt back into the reservoir. It does have a slight cooling fan noise but really isn’t that bad and after awhile you will forget it’s on. Highly recommend.
