1. It does have a lot of power and cuts through almost 1″ thick branches fairly easy. 2. It is kind of a positive and negative on the 24″ cutting bar as it is nice when you need that much reach but kind of cumbersome cutting shorter stuff. 3. The trimmer itself is fairly lightweight but when you attach the battery it becomes quite heavy (I do have the biggest battery that EGO sells). 4. I am a 75 year old man (in pretty good shape) and I was able to use it without trouble. I have the 21″ supercut EGO mower as well and I really like it too. Overall I give this unit a 8.0 out of 10 score and would recommend this trimmer.
