I’ve owned 3 trimmers prior to this one and with each I run into the same problems: fuel is a pain, re-loading line is a chore, and durability is an issue. The EGO POWER+ 15″ is a different story. And I love it. I popped it out of the box and got it up and running quickly and easily. Just a few parts and pieces to connect and I was ready. It really was simple. First thing I noticed was the battery quality. The 56 volt battery charges fast and is built to last. The housing is strong and it locks in securely. First usage, I ran the trimmer for 45 minutes and still had juice left. I’m really happy. The body is lightweight but strong. The aluminum shaft is really sturdy and it was easy to adjust to the right length for my usage. I’m 6′ 3″ and it’s perfect. It’s also really easy for my wife to use, it’s not too heavy and it easily adjust for her height as well. My favorite part about the EGO POWER+ is reloading the line. It actually works. Every single time. One tap on the ground with the throttle engaged and you’re back in action. And when it was time to re-load I easily threaded more line and then with the push of a button the trimmer head re-loaded itself. It’s fantastic. The trimmer has proven powerful and versatile enough to knock out my entire fence line, trim the long stuff under my trees, and to edge along my driveway without any issue whatsoever. I’m loving this thing. Can’t recommend it enough!
