Recipe: Cafe Style Matcha Latte
Ingredients:
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon matcha powder (depending on how strong you want it)
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1 cup heated milk (regular or plant based both work great)
- Sugar or honey to taste (about 2-3 tsp in order to match Starbucks sweetness)
Preparation:
- Heat up the water to just under a boil (170°F is ideal).
- Separately, heat up the milk to just under a boil.
- Whisk matcha powder with hot water until dissolved (we recommend using a bamboo whisk or electric frother).
- Stir in the sugar or honey to the matcha mixture.
- Froth the milk then add it to the matcha mixture.
- Optionally sprinkle a dash of matcha on top for presentation and enjoy!
