This is a great tool. About a month ago, I purchased the Kobalt 24v 1/2 inch cordless impact wrench and LOVED it. It had plenty of power to do anything I would need it to do, but it was a bit bulky and overpowered for smaller jobs in compact places. I purchased the 3/8 inch because it was better suited for some of the smaller jobs, but with 3 power settings, it wood be able to do some bigger jobs too. Great warranty as well as great price on replacement batteries.

We used two of these 3/8″ impacts over the weekend during a drift racing event. Traditionally we have always used 1/2″ impacts to remove and install tire/wheel combos between races. I never thought we could switch to a lighter, but still powerful impact. This is that impact; it pulled lug nuts off with ease and installed them with enough torque to run races and have no concerns of wheels falling off (150 ft/lbs approx.). That is really impressive. We also did that with no recharges of the battery all day, so roughly 60 tire and wheel changes all day with no charging and then we ran the led handheld light off of the batteries after that. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone that wants to add a light, powerful, versatile tool to their toolbox.
