I’m not sure of the size of our lawn, but normally it takes me 2 hours to mow non stop with a push mower. We have some steep hills also. I’ve only used this once so far and I’m pleased with it. Especially the battery life. It comes with a 6ah battery that took 2 hours to charge, but lasted 1.5 hours. However our grass is currently not thick. I’m still impressed. It also works with the batteries from the original Kobalt mower (the one that used 2 small blades) or their other products. It has one slot for the battery, and another slot to only store an extra battery. It has a metal deck. Unlike another review, the handle stays locked when pushing like it should. Just remember that the handle needs to be fully out extended out when you set it up or the mower won’t start… Something I learned after reading the manual. They have so many similar models now, you have to be careful which one you choose. Some come with smaller ah batteries
