I am very impressed with Makita’s lineup of LXT tools. I have owned a set of drills, drivers and saws for several years and they have never failed to perform admirably when they were called upon. They travelled with me to Nicaragua three times to build family houses and a church during mission trips. Battery charge holding capability is amazing. I have gone for several weeks before using a particular battery and it has always lasted almost as long as when it came out of the charger. Two months ago, all but one of my Makita tools were stolen from my vehicle and considered unrecoverable by our PD. I have replaced them with another group of LXT brushless motor tools because of the confidence that I have in Makita products.
