This is the first time I have owned a rear handle circular saw and have to admit, it gives me more control on long cuts than traditional handle position saws. Cutting capacity is a little over 2 1/2 inches and the 40volt power supply delivers maximum power under heavy load. Bevel cuts can be made up to 53 degrees. The carrying case is large enough to carry the saw, charger, battery and other items as needed. The only thing that surprised me about this saw was the noise the charger makes when the battery is being charged. This is certainly not a deal breaker, but it was surprising, most chargers are silent in charge mode.
