I received the Ridgid NXT 16 gallon wet/dry vacuum this past week. Some minor assembly is required. Legs,casters and hose handle/ cord wrap. As with most the casters are small and work well when on concrete and not so well on rough surfaces like my asphalt driveway. So the only thing I can compare this to is my other vacs. Both which were obtained for cheap money during Black Friday sales. Well this one is hands down better . The suction is amazing. The cord is longer they say it’s seven feet in the product description. I think it is slightly longer. But I didn’t measure it. The hose connections are locking which makes a world of difference. The only downside is done think they will work with older non locking accessories. Speaking of accessories the hose is better than the hard plastic ones in years past but it is still not the greatest. The five you to pieces of hard pipe and one floor tool. It has a drain for use with sucking up liquid. The outlet also can be used as a blower. Features that the cheap one did not have.
