This is a terrific drill. The chuck takes 1/2 inch bits and the motor generates great toque so as cut through particle board there was never a hint of the motor straining. The rotation was smooth and displayed no sign of laboring. The size is small but the torque is huge. The batteries go in and remove easily both when going on and coming off. The compact size with the high torque make this drill a favorite.
