This drill is perfect for a first timer or general house drill. It’s also a great drill for light automotive work. Having any of the bits really makes it a tool to have so I suggest purchasing one of those as well. It’s got a good solid grip and is on the average feel when it comes to weight. I currently have one battery but it’s enough to get you through the project. You can always buy another one later.
