This battery is part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 224 cordless tools that use the same battery platform and is backed by the RYOBI 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. Charger is sold separately or you can purchase a kit which includes battery(s) and charger. I have used the RYOBI ONE+ system for five years including trimmer, skill saw, blower, impact drill, driver, and oscillating tool. I had three standard 1.5 batteries and they are still performing and charging well. This battery will allow me to complete some of my routine jobs without changing the battery prior to completion.
