I really haven’t bought any Craftsman power tools in a very long time. I decided to try this palm sander because the price was fair and it felt really nice in my hand in the store. I like it, it works really well and holds the sand paper firm. I like these 1/4 sheet sanders because you don’t have to use proprietary sand paper with them , you can just use a standard 9×11 sheet, tear it into 4 sections and off you go. Very economical to use. BTW I’m a professional carpenter with 40 years experience

This sander feels good in the hand and is lightweight for overhead use. Very easy to change the paper and without a cord to get tangled or in your way.
