I’m guessing everything but the screws were made in the USA. The metal and butcher block are very sturdy. Before you begin assembly, save yourself some trouble and buy some extra carriage bolts (1/4 x 3/4” – 20). I started to assemble and the instructions state finger tight to start with, then square and wrench tighten. Well as you can see in the pictures, the carriage bolts that came with the table sheered off easily – even before tightening. So I had to go back to the store. I got grade 8 hex bolts for the back and stainless carriage bolts for the front. Now it is very sturdy. I’ve seen some reviews about damage to the product upon opening. Make sure you don’t ratchet down on the box during transport, and don’t prop it up on the closed tailgate of a truck. It needs to lay flat or the metal will get wrinkled up.
