This is a great little vacuum. I have owned several different shop vacs over 50 years and this is my favorite. I have the Dewalt 12 gallon which I bought because it is quiet. This Craftsman is almost as quiet. It has good suction and is light weight. My son has the Shopvac equivalent of this model and it is really noisy. Also, the Craftsman has a long electrical cord unlike the comparable Shopvac. It has become my go to out of the three shop vacs I own.
