I used many tools during my life and always another brand until I used my first Dewalt tool. I love the 1/4 inch impact and own 4 – 18 volt impacts , drills, flashlight and now own a 20 volt impact, drill and 4 new batteries. They are one of the best tools that I have ever used in remodeling or building in my wood shop. My collection of the Dewalt tools are growing and still hope I will be around to enjoy them. I purchased a 12 volt impact and really use this tool doing electrical and driving screws. It is a number one tool in my book and really enjoy using it. Thank You Discounttoday

I have seen a few complaints on here about not getting the same product as advertised due to the lack of the XR logo. These are the same batteries as the XR (same part number). Some units were just manufactures prior to the XR marketing. All in all, very glad I made this purchase. The tools I bought them for were my hammer and impact driver. When I purchased the drills in a combo set, they came with two large 4.0 ah batteries. As nice as it is to have such a long run time, the weight of those batteries added to user fatigue when drill and driving for longer periods. The 2.0 ah batteries are light enough to be comfortable during extended use and the lithium ion ensures I am not halting my work to wait on a charge. The reduced weight as compared to the 4.0 also makes the drills feel better balanced when installed. The lighted battery indicator is also a nice bonus.
