I picked up this battery for my range of Dewalt cordless tools. I couldn’t have made a better choice. This battery lasts forever and provides more than enough power for every one of them. It is heavier than the smaller batteries that come with some of the tools, but that is too be expected. It is not overbearing and the trade off is absolutely worth it. The small things like the terminal cover for transporting and the power meter are what really did it for me. Just the fact I can switch this battery out to every one of my tools is a timesaver.

I own 2 flexvolt batteries now, and mainly use them with my Dewalt 7-1/4″ advantage circular saw and my flexvolt table saw. While the circular saw works good with a 20v battery, it really flies when I use a flexvolt battery with it. The extra power the battery provides allows my to fly through 2×12’s and 3/4″ plywood with ease. My table saw requires the flexvolt 60v batteries. With a 6ah flexvolt, I can run trim and pine through it most of the day off one battery. On days where it get’s heavy use, I use a 2nd flexvolt battery, and keep a fast charger on hand to keep them both charged and running. I have also found my Dewalt flexvolt batteries to last a really long time. The first one I bought was several years ago and it still works like new today.
