This hammer drill has awesome power. I recently used it to put a ledger board on my house to build a deck and had to drill through brick. It made quick work of the project. Finding good drill bits is a another story when drilling through brick but the drill did its job.

Absolutely love this driver! I purchased mine to replace a 20 year old Makita and can’t believe I didn’t make the switch years ago. My new Dewalt cut its teeth on a fishing boat refurb project I took on and it performed flawlessly. Plenty of torque and speed for any application. Annnnnd I love the fact that the battery is interchangeable with my Dewalt weed eater and so many other tools. Dewalt all the way for me from now on! (Bonus points that the drill is compatible with K-drills for those ice fishermen and women out there.)
