Dewalt makes many cordless circular saw models. From brushed, to brushless, to Power Detect, to FlexVolt 60V versions. Their most powerful 7.25″ saws all being left handed (right side blade), aside from the DCS577 60V worm drive rear handle saw. The main problem with that saw though is that it’s 4+ pounds heavier than the top of the line left handed DCS578! So what do you do if you really want a great right handed saw, but don’t necessarily “need” a 7.25″? You buy this 20V DCS565 saw! It has plenty of power for cutting standard lumber and plywood, and is quite light. I have both the DCS578 and this DCS565. I almost always use the DCS565!
