Awesome set. Fits perfectly in my husky tool box.

An excellent set of wrenches and sockets, but my advice is grab a bungee cord so you’re not sitting in your driveway in the dark picking up and sorting 200 pieces of small metal. The little door flaps that hold the drawers in place can not take the weight and will all come tumbling down. Trust me.

I purchased the 290pc set and am exceptionally pleased. Whether you’re a professional mechanic or an average Joe working out of your garage, this set will get the job done every time. The case is appealing to the eyes, very well organized and easy to use and plenty tight to hold your tools in place to prevent a spill. The quality of the individual tools are top-notch and appear to be neck and neck with top brands, and don’t forget about the lifetime warranty! I’ve used this set for several oil changes, pulling an engine apart on a CJ5, changing mower blades and much more in the short time I’ve owned it, and I’ve got to say, these tools are solid and easy to work with. I’m usually pretty critical about my purchases and do a lot of research before buying—I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product to anyone, I’ve already recommended it to a couple of ‘tool nut’ coworkers. You won’t find this assortment of tools with this quality for this price anywhere!

It has everything you need. Nice case with everything sorted out for you. First time using the set was yesterday helping my father replacing his led on his 1997 chevy.

I LOVE this set. The only drawback is when toting it around by the top handle, the toolbox can pitch forward to dump the slide-in drawers all over the floor. This happened to me THREE times! So, I took one of my kid’s white are pencils to score a line down the front. From there, I drilled a series of small holes from the top of the lid to the bottom of the box using the scored line to keep everything lined up. Then, I slid a metal rod down through the works and I closed everything up. No more dumped tools! Open and remove the rod to use the set. The whole fix took me all of 15 minutes.

This Husky 290 piece mechanics tool set is full of high quality tools. The ratchet is 5 degree arc to help get things done in tight spaces. It also has 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ sockets along with several nut drivers, screw driving tips as well. There are some reviews complaining about the case and I can see where people might have some difficulty if you move it around a bunch. This won’t be my concern because my tools stay stationary in my garage. The sockets are pretty easy to read due to larger markings but my older eyes have trouble with the smaller sockets. The whole box is pretty hefty, so another reason to probably not move it around too much. Bottom line, nice set – quality brand in Husky so think this is a good buy if you need that one set to build upon for your collection.

This is a useful set of tool with a very functional toolbox. The toolbox has a stout carrying handle that folds away flush for transportation. Both metric and SAE tools are included. The set includes three sizes of ratchets, which is useful as long ratchets are needed for maximum torque, while short ones are needed in confined spaces. The set has over fifty driver bits, again in a variety of styles. This set is now my go-to kit for projects where I cannot anticipate what is needed.
