I would recommend for first or infrequent smoking as the price point is good and performance of the product did not disappoint. The assembly was a bit tedious because there are so many nuts and bolts. I followed the advice of others and managed to assemble in little over an hour. It is sturdy and takes some attention when smoking for several hours. Maintaining the temperature was easy based on tips in the instructions. I also added a smoker box and mesquite wood chips. Overall, I’m pleased with the product and result of my first brisket!
