    I bought this saw for its 70 degree miter capabilities. I couldn’t be happier. It was close to square out of the box and was easy enough to adjust. It’s got power and amazing capabilities.

    Cut Square and 45 out of the box. Wanted the Dewalt 12” sliding miter saw, but due to lack if availabilty I went with Ridgid. Heavy to lug around but it will get the job done.

    As a “collector” of mitre saws, the ridgid saw has performed well so far. The motor has impressive power and the small light over the cutline is a well thought out accessory. Perhaps the most useful feature is the pair of swing out tables, which allow an industry leading 70 degree cut in either direction. The ease of adjustment for the fence makes cutting in the tilting position quite easy compared to other saws i have used. Changing the blade was quick and easy with the conveniently stored wrench. It is obvious that the designers of this saw consulted with some carpenters!

    Very close to square right out of the box. The only minor issue was that the blade bolt started to loosen after a half day – could tell as the brake wasn’t working the same – but a simple twist and it was good again. Very quiet, very precise and fits both my Rigid large frame/wheel cart and the smaller solid leg cart.

    Great saw. Alot of options and the truly the industry leader for 70 degree cuts. The stand i got for it is beefed up to handle the abuse. Highly recommend but you better do some arms -pulls to load it.

    Very easy to put together. I personally put a different saw blade on for the type of cutting I do. Blade itself has zero wobble. The light feature is a nice as well. I have my saw attached to a shop vacuum as that little bag isn’t big enough. Over all I would highly recommend this saw, if you do beveled cuts, angle cuts and ect.
