RIDGID introduces the R9272 18V Cordless 2-Tool Combo Kit. This RIDGID 2-Tool Combo Kit features an 18V 1/2 in. Drill/Driver, 18V Impact Driver, 2 18V batteries, and a charger. The 18V 1/2 in. Drill/Driver features a powerful motor that delivers 525 in./lbs. of torque and provides 20% faster drilling when compared to the previous generation (R8600521). This model is 15% lighter weight and offers enhanced ergonomics while still delivering the power needed around the jobsite. The 18V 1/2 in. Drill/Driver includes a 2-speed gearbox that provides speed of 0-500 RPM or 0-1,800 RPM.
The 1/2 in. single sleeve ratcheting chuck holds bits tight and secure. This 18V Impact Driver features a powerful motor that delivers 1,850 in./lbs. of torque and 33% faster driving when compared to the previous generation R86034. The RIDGID 18V Impact Driver provides speeds up to 2,800 RPM and 3,600 IPM via the variable speed trigger. The perfect set! As much DIY work as I do for my neighbors, since I’m retired, they can keep me pretty busy. Anything from shelves, cabinets, yard work, deck repairs, you name it. Not to mention my own chores and home maintenance. I needed a set that covered all bases, but couldn’t find one just right. Then while browsing 4-piece tool sets on the Home Depot website, I came across this RIGID set. Perfect. It comes with the heavy duty carry bag, a powerful half-inch drill with clutch, a hammer drill with absolutely incredible torque (over 1800 lbs) a circular saw, and a reciprocating saw – plus a charger and two batteries! And the circular saw and reciprocating both come with standard blades. What more could you ask for. The circular saw is 6 ½”, which is big enough to cut any 2×4’s for projects. The drill will get use almost daily, and the hammer drill will be great for running long bolts into 10” square deck posts. And the reciprocating saw can be handy for building, demo, even yard work. And everything fits easily in one bag, for easy toting, or just having everything in one place. Great deal!
