The 12 in. bar and chain allows you to cut limbs and trees up to 10 in. diameter. I absolutely love my new RYOBI ONE+ HP 18V Brushless 12 in. Electric Cordless Chainsaw with 6.0 Ah Battery and Charger! With the 6Ah battery, it is extremely powerful, not to mention quiet when compared with a gas equivalent. Now, when I want to cut something, the whole neighborhood won’t hear me! The saw is rated to cut up to 10-inch trees, but since I was putting it through its paces, I thought I’d try it on a dead 15-inch pine that had fallen and was blocking one of my trails. It worked flawlessly! What comes in the box is saw and the plastic chain guard that slides over the bar. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t include a small bottle of chain lube and a chain tightening tool, which have been included with the saws I have purchased in the past, so, when you buy your saw, you still have more shopping to do! All in all, it’s a great saw at a great price!
