Picked up the chainsaw as my free tool during the buy a battery kit get a free tool promo and am pleased with the purchase. I, like many do not need a chainsaw often or for very big jobs, just occasional tree trimmings and breaking down larger branches so they fit in the fire pit. It is great for this. I first tried it with a 2ah battery while my new 4ah batteries were charging. The tool ran fine, but did not last very long. It would still be fine if you went out to just trim a few branches though. Once my 4ah batteries were charged, I really got into cutting some logs and stumps. The tool easily cut through everything I tried with no slow downs or hang ups. At least for my hand (medium glove), the trigger was somewhat tiring to hold for longer cuts. It would be annoying if I used it everyday, but for my use it will be fine. Pros: -Good price, especially as free tool with battery kit deal -Compact -powerful enough for its size Cons: -Not that comfortable for my hand on longer cuts Overall it will meet my needs and I am happy with the purchase!

I’m pleased overall with this little pruning saw. It has a nice compact design and can handle cutting some good size limbs. I was able to cut off up to about 4″ limbs with little to no problems. While cutting there was very few times that it would bind up and it had plenty of power to cut through. It has an adjusting/ tightening tool that fit neatly in the handle. I had to tighten it up about 3 times the first day I used it. I was cutting mostly dead hedge tree limbs with it. The only bad part is the battery size, could use a bigger battery if you will be cutting lots of limbs. The original battery lasted for about 20 minutes of cutting.
