I was looking to replace my older Makita 12v compact drill, driver and impact drivers. I was considering a compact Bosch but 12v but decided to try this DCF601 instead. I found it to be compact, solid, well made and a great value. I liked its features and how powerful it was in such a small package. It is a great replacement and addition to my other tools. I am also looking at purchasing a DCD701 too!
