I have a Dewalt DCD791, its been a very good drill but can get bogged down sometimes with large bits and hole saws. It is also not a hammer drill. So I grabbed this DCD998 Power detect drill and there is no stopping this drill. I can literally push as hard as I can with a 4″ hole saw bit and not bog this down. I also use on some brick and it just goes. This is the drill of drills imo. I also have the DCF887 and this is a great driver. Nice size and runs well with just a 2Ah battery. Keep in mind the 887 is made for fasteners and screws, not large bolts. One other thing to note on the 8Ah battery, almost as powerful but longer lasting than a 9Ah Flexvolt for your 20v tool.

This is a much better deal than the Flexvolt hammer drill unless you have the 60v tool and need want the Flexvolt battery. This drill is a power house. Also the charger will charge quicker than the Flexvolt package with the drill and impact.
