This thing is GREAT. Before I buy something like this I always do my research, read consumer reviews, etc. So, I read a few comments that were critical of this grinder. I cannot imagine why. This grinder was perfect out of the box. It runs great, no vibration, not wobble, just perfection. I usually buy power tools from ‘another brand’, this is my first DeWalt, and I am impressed. Oh, and the blades on my yard Deere tractor are now razor sharp.

Nice powerful grinder. Runs very smoothly. I left the coarse stone in place and installed an 8″ braided wire wheel on the opposite side. Still runs very smoothly, vibration is almost unnoticeable. I use this unit for heavy grinding and brushing and use a smaller 6″ grinder and brush wheel for fine work. Both are mounted on steel stands made for this purpose.
