This Kobalt mower has the 3 in 1 options that everyone loves and uses. It can mulch, use a side discharge or use a bag, which is included. Also included in the purchase is a 3 year warrantied 40 V battery, and a 6 Ah battery charger. The mower, itself, has a 5 year warranty. It took my husband 15 minutes to assemble without any tools required. The deck measures 20 inches and the mower weighs 56 pounds. It can store vertically in the garage and offers a brushless motor. The wheels are plastic and the rear wheels measure 10 inches. The very nice feature of this mower is the ability to change the cutting height to so many different levels ranging from 1 3/8 inches to 3 3/4 inches. The battery and charger provided works also with the other Kobalt 40 V max system tools. The battery has a nice fuel gauge which shows charging level. The mower blade is 20 inches and is made of steel. The mower has an electric push button start, which operates very quickly and quietly. It started the very first time without any effort. The handle also can adjust to three different angle operating positions. My husband is 6′ 4″ so he has the handle at the highest level. This is not a self-propelled mower, but it operates very easily and cuts very efficiently.

This is for the 40 volt cordless Kobalt lawnmower. Really did have some reservations on just what a cordless lawnmower would do, but thought it worth a try. Glad I did. For sure this mower would not be good for a large yard as I am sure it was never intended for that anyway. But for a smaller yard, it is great. In the pictures you will see the before cutting and after cutting. The 2 inch wide tires are prefect to keep from getting deep tire marks in the grass as you can see and we had rain the day before so the ground is soft. You can also see the clippings in the bag showing a nice clean cut. My only true concern is the plastic knobs that hold the top half of the handle in place. They are plastic and as such, if over tighten may well strip out. When you first get this, the battery has to be charged and this will take a couple of hours to do. Time will tell how good the battery life is. For mowing our yard which takes about 20 minutes, found the battery still had ¾ charge left. Grass type mowed is Fescue. Here is what I like; Bag fits between the handle making for easy removal and installing. Catcher is easy to empty. Wide tires. Easy one hand height adjustment. There are several heights to pick from. Handle height adjustment is easy to do as is folding the handle down for storage. Battery is easy to take out and reinstall. This goes for the safety switch too. There is also a place to store the switch. Charger can be hung. Con: Plastic knobs for top half of handle. Grass catcher size. Could be a bit larger.
