DIY Homeowner here… I’ve been cutting wall tile for two days now with this tool. I figured there would be something obviously wrong about it given the brand and the low price… Seems to crank right along… I guess I’m happy! If you are going pro, there’s features I imagine you’d want that a saw that costs 4 or 5 times as much has. Things like blade angle can be limiting… you can’t raise or lower the blade. The bevel cut thing means you have to cut to size and then cut to bevel. These are things that are easy to work around.

I bought this wet saw when I discovered my tile snap type cutter didn’t work great on some textured tile I was installing. I wish I bought it sooner. The Good: It cuts like butter after many many feet of cut. I bought a backup blade but have not needed it. The blade sits in the water bath (no hose). Water splashing is minimal, I used it in my garage. You could use it in your bathroom on a sheet of plastic. I was able to rip long tiles very accurately. The Less Good: The slide mechanism wheels had to be adjusted, it still binds slightly, but doesn’t affect the cut. Cleaning takes a bit of time, but that’s to be expected. Lastly, you need to be careful to slow up as it cuts thru the tile at the very end or you can get a tiny chip. Of course you can cut with the tile upside down to avoid this. Not a big deal. Overall – this saved my project at a very decent price. Love it.
