BoltShield FSPD060 replaces FirstSurge FS060. Surge protective devices (SPDs) provide the best protection from both externally and internally generated surges when located as close to the home’s electrical panel as possible. The new Siemens BoltShield FSPD series of SPDs are economical and easy to install next to any brand of load center so that whole home surge protection can be obtained. FSPD100 is a Type 2 SPD providing 100kA of surge current protection per phase. NEMA 4X unit with a 3/4 inch side mounted nipple. Meets the 2020 NEC & 2023 NEC surge requirements
