Better than I expected. After single digit temps we had a ton of leaves from our two 15 yr old Live Oak trees. Raked them into rows and went to work. The mulching results were awesome, smaller pieces than I expected, made great mulch. It was loud but not so loud that I reached for hearing protection. The vacuuming speed was good and I never had any clogs. Used max speed the whole time. I like the steel blade in front of the Polypropylene impeller. The impeller suffered no dings, etc. It can be held off the ground or rolled as it is not heavy. Tried the strap, didn’t really need it. The 12 gauge extension cords (I needed 100′) were much more expensive than the unit itself. The blow/vac/CFM speeds on the HomeDepot site match what is in the owner’s manual, SunJoe’s numbers on their own site are lower than what is shown in the owners manual. I have not used the blower yet. The only issue was the bag fell off several times when it was close to being full. The bag is secured with basically what looks like a shoe string. It has to be tight to hold the bag on the bag handle and it is tricky getting it tight enough since it is down in a groove while you tie a loop in the string (like tying your shoe). The string does NOT have to be removed to empty the bag so once it is tight enough it should be good for a while. I think a large zip tie would work great in place of the string. It is a dusty job but overall I am very happy with it!

I was surprised at how well the grinder tore thru a huge pile of leaves. Works great! Blower is ok but the grinder is well worth the process. My ground is sandy (FL) so I am always trying to enhance it so spraying the ground up leaves works well or you can bag it and discard.
