This Ryobi battery powered 4 1/2 inch grinder offers freedom from corded models by removing the link nuts of where you can use it to grind multiple types of materials. It has more than enough power to grind sheet metal, common steel, iron concrete and masonry. The tool has female threaded attachment points for the handle to be attached on the right or left sides. The shield which protects the used from the blade and the subsequent dust and debris can also be rotated easily via a quick release clamp, to suit both right and left handed users. This tool comes without a battery, but uses the same battery as all of the tools in the One Plus system. The tool is hefty at approximately 6.18 pounds and the grinding disc spins at 6500 rpm’s.
